The Guelph Storm play in Guelph,Ontario,Canada. The play at the Sleeman Centre. The franchise started as the Toronto Marlboros, and in 1989 the Marlboros moved to Hamilton to become the Dukes of Hamilton. Following the 1990-1991 season, the franchise was relocated to Guelph. The Storm have reached the Memorial Cup 4 times 3 of which they finished in 4th(last)in 96,02, and 04 but in 98 they lost in the finals to the Portland Winter Hawks. The teqam has an assortment of Nhl Alummuni soem include Craig Anderson, Ken Belanger, Todd Bertuzzi, Dustin Brown, Ryan Callahan, Dan Cloutier, Jeff Cowan, Kevin Dallman, Aaron Downey, Cam Janssen, Manny Malhotra, Brian McGrattan, Rumun Ndur, Jeff O'Neill, Ryan Parent, Fedor Tyutin and Brian Willsie. The Guelph Storm have one Retired number 18 who belonged to Paul Fendley who was a former member of the Guelph CMC's who died in an on-ice accident at Guelph Memorial Gardens in 1972. His number has been officially retired by the city of Guelph and is not issued to any hockey players at any level within the city. Some of the awards this teams players have recieved include in 1992 Jeff O'Neill, won the Jack Ferguson Award First Overall draft pick) & Emms Family Award (Rookie of the Year), in 1993-94 Jeff O'Neill won CHL Top Draft Prospect Award, in 1994-95 Jamie Wright won the Bobby Smith Trophy (Scholastic Player of the Year) and Mark McArthur & Andy Adams won the Dave Pinkney Trophy (Lowest team GAA), in 1995-96 Dan Cloutier & Brett Thompson won the Dave Pinkney Trophy (Lowest team GAA) and Brett Thompson won the F.W. 'Dinty' Moore Trophy (Best rookie GAA)and Jeff Williams won the William Hanley Trophy (Most Sportsmanlike Player), in 1997-98 Manny Malhotra won the Bobby Smith Trophy (Scholastic Player of the Year)

The Erie Otters play in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA. Their arena they play in is called the Louis J. Tullio Arena. The Otters entered the league in 1996 but the actual franchise has been around since 1953. Before being the Otters they were in 1953-60 the Hamilton Tiger Cubs, then they became in 1960-74 the Hamilton Red Wings, then became in 1974-76 the Hamilton Fincups, for a year they were the St. Catharines Fincups, but then became the Hamilton Fincups in 1977-78, a year later they became the Brantford Alexanders from 1978-84, after that they went back to Hamilton from 1984-88 as the Hamilton Steelhawks, the the spent 1988-96 as the Niagara Falls Thunder and then finally became the Erie Otters from 1996-Present. There best years in the OHL was from 1999 to 2002 when they won their Division 3 straight years and fianlly won the J.Ross Robertson Cup in 2002 to become OHL Champions and represent the OHL in the Memorial Cup though they lost to Victoriaville in the Semi-Finals. Some of the teams Nhl Alummuni include Brad Boyes, Chris Campoli, Tim Connolly, Steve Montador and Carlo Colaiacovo. Their most decorated player is defintly Brad Boyes who won in 1999-00 the CHL Scholastic Player of the Year Award and the Bobby Smith Trophy (OHL Scholastic Player of the Year), also in 2000-01 he won the Red Tilson Trophy (Most Outstanding Player) and the William Hanley Trophy (Most Sportsmanlike Player)and in 2001-02 he won CHL Sportsman of the Year Award,the Red Tilson Trophy (Most Outstanding Player), the William Hanley Trophy (Most Sportsmanlike Player) and the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award (Playoffs MVP).

Brampton Battalion

The Brampton Battalion play in Brampton,Ontario,Canada. They play at the Powerade Centre. The team was founded in 1996 and played their first season in 1998-99. Since there start they have won their division twice but have failed to make it past the Semi-Finals in their entire history. Even in their short history some good players have come out of their system like Jay Harrison, Brian Finley, Rostislav Klesla, Jay McClement, Raffi Torres, Wojtek Wolski, and Jason Spezza(Played for Brampton 1 year under-age in his hometown and the next year had to go into the draft). All of the player awards on this team are in 1998 Jay Harrison won the Jack Ferguson Award (First overall draft pick), in 1999-00 Rostislav Klesla won the (CHL Top Draft Prospect Award), and in 2005-06 Wojtek Wolski won the William Hanley Trophy (Most Sportsmanlike Player) and the Red Tilson Trophy (Most Outstanding Player). Stan Butler has been the only GM and Head Coach of the Brampton Battalion being the second longest serving ever next to Brian Kilrea of the Ottawa 67's.

Bellville Bulls

The Belleville Bulls play in Belleville,Ontario,Canada. They play at the Yarmden Arena. They have only been OHL Champions once from 1981 to 2007 and they accomplished this in 1999 by deafting the London Knights 4 games to 3. The Bellville Bulls have a very accomplished list of players who have gone to the NHL like Craig Billington, Johnathan Cheechoo, Dan Cleary, Brent Gretzkey, Al Iafrate, Bryan Marchment, Marty McSorley, Branislav Mezei, Kris Newbury, Darren Pang, Daren McCarty, Justin Papineau, Richard Park, Branko Radivojevic, Scott Thorton,Matt Stajan, Kyle Wellwood(was Traded to Windsor) and Jason Spezza. Players on this team have won some amazing awards like Dave Maclean,Kyle Wellwood and Nathan Robinson have all won the Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy(OHL Top Scorer), while the likes of Dunc MacIntyre, Ryan Ready, Randy Rowe, and Tyler Donati have won the Leo Lalonde Memorial Trophy(Overage player of the year). Also in 1999 Justin Papineau won the Wayzkey 99 award for Playoff MVP. The team has 1 retired number and that is 15 of Dunc MacIntyre.

Steve Stamkos was taken first overall in the 2006 OHL Priority Selection by the Sarnia Sting. He played for the Markham Waxers who have built some players like Sean Avery, Peter Ing, Adam Oates and Steve Thomas. TSN had him pinned as the #1 guy for the NHL 2208 Entry Draft. He had a slow start to the year but has finally started to start racking up some points.

The Barrie Colts are from Barrie,Ontario,Canada. They play at the Barrie Molson Centre. They played from the 1960's to 1978 in the Mid-Ontario Junoir B League, after that they went on to the Central Junoir B League from 78 to 93 then to the OPJHL Junoir A from 93 to 95 then to the OHL from 95 to the present. In 1970 they won the George S. Dudley Trophy Super "C" and in 93 they won the Sutherland Cup. In 2000 they were OHL champions and went on to the Memorial Cup with a 1 and 2 record where they defeated the Halifax Mooseheads in the Semi-Final and lost to Rimouski in the Final. They have never reached the Memorial Cup since. Some of the teams OHL Grads to the NHL are Brad Brown,Jan Bulis,Jeff Cowan,Mike Danton,Sheldon Keefe,Erik Reitz and soon to be to the NHL Bryan Little. Some Grads from the Jnoir B colts to the NHL are Drake Berhoswky,Shayne Corson,John Madden and Craig Rivet. The Next One can define this exceptional hockey talent but the saying the next one can mean anyone. People may refer to this guy as the next Gretzkey because Crosby in my mind is the next Mario Lemieux. But the next could also mean the next Daigle or Lindros, Lindros who put up amazing OHL numbers playing for the same team the Oshawa Generals. But Taveras has this certain factor he just has unvbeliveable skill to just dominate a team. To show why this guy is so talented at the age of 16 he broke the Great Wayne Gretzkeys record for most goals in the OHL by a 16 year old, but no it doesnt finish there he also won the CHL player of the year award and also won the Red Tillson Award(OHL MVP). Tavares even was awarded exceptional player status and was able to be taken a year early in the OHL draft with that he was the youngest player to ever be drafted in the OHL though Bobby Orr signed at a younger age. Being the top guy in there sport runs in the family because his uncle John Tavares holds the record for most points in the National Lacrosse League. Though John Tavares is such an exceptional talent he is only eligible for the NHL 2009 draft because his birthday misses the cutoff date by 5 days. Though people are fighting to have him in the 2008 draft so far he is still going to be scheduled to be taken in 2009. Where and what will this exceptional talent go and do only time will tell.
